Iota Rho History
The Iota Rho Chapter was chartered on June 8, 1978, at the University of Central Florida, formerly known as Florida Technological University. For thirty years and counting, Iota Rho has embodied the motto “Culture for Service, Service for Humanity”. Our chapter has sponsored many events pertaining to our national philanthropies of education and bigger and better business. Some of our signature community events are Project G.I.V.E., Sleep Out for the Homeless, our Annual Braveheart Diabetes Awareness Dinner, and our highly anticipated Love Jones event; where we acknowledge the art of poetry. As a whole, we strive to promote excellence, charity and cultural diversity within ourselves and the community around us.
